Founded in 1980 as the Garden Center of Eagle Vail, we became the Garden Center of Gypsum in 1995. We have dedicated our four-acre site in Gypsum to the plants we know will grow in this mountain environment as well as to the education our clients need to ensure their plants stay healthy and happy. At our horticulture distribution center, our classes on raised beds, container gardening, vegetable gardening, and so much more, give area residents the skills and confidence they need to grow their own gardens as well as a variety of colorful indoor and outdoor plants. Your One-Stop Mountain Garden Shop
As a full-service garden center, we aim to supply everything you need to care for your plants and trees, along with the education, tips, and tricks that will bring out the green thumb in anyone. Take a closer look at everything we have to offer.
We start with easy-to-grow houseplants that are beautiful and require little maintenance. Indoor and outdoor materials include mulch, soil, and compost as well as seeds, pottery, gifts and items from local craftspeople, and more. We offer classes in vegetable gardening, raised beds, and more to give you the skills to match your plants and supplies.
We can deliver and install trees up to 15 feet tall. Our design services range from simple potting all the way up to full landscape design and installation, and we work with trees and plants that are suited to thrive in our mountain environment.
We provide healthy plants, and we want to help you ensure they stay healthy! If you have a plant that isn't doing so well, we offer free plant health diagnostic services at our garden center, or we can do it at your location for a small fee. We also have a variety of pest and fertilizer solutions in-stock, so we can tell you what you need and you can, in most cases, take it home with you that day. Delivery of fertilizer or pest solutions, as well as any other products we offer, is also available for a small fee.
